We Have a New Home!

I'm happy to report that we have a new home now! Closing was done at noon today, with one minor fax glitch that delayed completion until late in the afternoon. But now it is completed. We spent just a short bit of time at the house before returning to our hotel.

We met one of our neighbors, Jennifer, who has two young daughters. After our happy years in our cul de sac in Elk River with all the children who grew up around us, we're delighted to know we have more young children. Jennifer told us there are more young ones next door to us and that's good.

Tomorrow morning we'll start the move-in process by unloading the truck and trailer.

Our DSL network won't be active at home until Monday, so I may be offline until then. I'll update as soon as I can. Maybe we'll find a Panera or a coffee shop where we can log in.

Until then, lots of blessings to you and yours. Thanks for your prayers during this exciting adventure. To slightly abuse what the Apostle Paul said in the New Testament, "we've learned to be content with the state we're in." That applied in Oklahoma and Minnesota, and no doubt it will carry through in Texas!
