Christmas Day in Texas

We're enjoying our first Christmas in our new home in Texas. We're calling this one our "Unique Christmas". With all of the time for packing, moving, unpacking and getting settled in, many of the traditions we have developed over the years haven't happened this year. But that's ok -- this is our unique year.

We had our fun exchanging special gifts today. Gabriel loves unwrapping his special gifts. We wrap them in tissue paper and he carefully unwraps them and plays with each special toy. Debbie's Mom came home with us from Grant last night and got a kick out of watching Gabriel unwrap his presents. Gabriel wasn't quite as interested in watching her open her special gift. Check out my new "Rocker"! Now at the store they call this a game chair, I think, but this is a super comfortable little chair. And since we don't have a couch or other living room furniture right now (by choice), this was a great addition to our living room. Of course it has the capability of getting a bit exciting when you lean back to far. I wound up all the way back while talking with Joanne on the phone.
Have a Merry Christmas! Gabriel and I are going for a walk in the neighborhood and I'll take a few more pictures and will post them soon. Love to you and yours today!

Looks like an interesting rock N tumble kind of chair. Be careful, don't forget to buckle up.

Looks like a comfy new chair to me! I'm sure Aunt Joanne never knew you'd gone belly up!
