This is the week we've been waiting for. Here are some notes just so you'll know what's happening. We anticipate that our landline telephone will be disconnected on either Monday or Tuesday. When that happens our DSL connection will also be gone so it might be a few days before we are on here again or able to respond to email. Remember that our Sherbtel.net email address also ends when that connection ends.
We'll be loading the truck on Wednesday. A couple of friends from our church will be helping, along with some men from E-move.com. We'll spend that night in Plymouth MN. Interestingly enough, our last night in MN will be at the same hotel where I stayed on my first night in MN when I came here for my first interview with GE IT Solutions.
Debbie and I will start our drive southbound right after closing Thursday morning. We're planning to get to Cameron, Missouri, that first day. We'll both have our cell phones all the way of course. Pray for us -- and for some good weather all the way. I'll be driving a 26' U-Haul truck and pulling a trailer with our Camry on it -- maybe sort of like the really old movie "The Long, Long Trailer". Well, I hope not! Debbie will be right behind me driving the Passport and keeping a eye on me to be sure I keep the trailer on the road.
