In a previous post I mentioned our good friends Wayne & Linda Benso who moved to Elk River a couple of years ago from the Metroplex in Texas and who attend Northwood Church with us. They have really become very special friends over these two years. We shared a delightful Thanksgiving Dinner with them on Thursday, then met for a special treat at Cold Stone Creamery Friday afternoon.
That afternoon Linda brought Debbie the most beautiful chest as a special gift. Debbie had told her of her desire to have "Grandma's Treasure Chest" in our home so that when grandchildren come to visit, they will be able to pick a toy from Grandma's Treasure Chest. With that in mind, Linda found this chest and knew it was perfect to be Grandma's Treasure Chest. She brought it to Debbie when we met at Cold Stone Creamery in Otsego yesterday.

What a beautiful treasure chest! I'm sure the treasure of gift givers friendship is one of the biggest treasures in that chest.
