Men's Retreat at Sunshine Lake

The sun really did shine on Saturday while we were at Sunshine Lake for a Men's Retreat this weekend. Friday night there was heavy snow, but Saturday was beautiful! It was a good time for fellowship, Bible study, prayer and more. What kind of topics do men dig in to when they go on a retreat together? This time the primary topics were grace (giving and receiving), purity and handling change. And we prayed together much. As the scripture says about iron sharpening iron, the men were sharpening each other! It was a good, healthy weekend.


The original plan was to have some good worship time at the cross at the side of the lake. We spent a few minutes there Friday night, but since none of us really came prepared for that kind of weather, we headed back inside after about a half hour.
