I'm in Dallas this week, involved in testing our systems as we prepare to take the next step in merging the two businesses into one. This evening I had dinner with my manager and on Wednesday will have dinner with his manger. This is a good time to catch up on current and future plans of the business and as they relate to us. I'll update you when any news comes out of these meetings.
Sunday afternoon I got on the plane in Minneapolis. It was a nice sunny day, feeling comfortably warm at about 40 degrees. Two hours later I landed in Dallas to a much warmer 93 degrees! Even though I tried to dress lightly, I was sweating much as I walked off the plane into the Dallas oven. It was better today -- only about 80 degrees. This evening at the hotel while others were in their jackets, I went for a swim in the outdoor pool. Hey, I thought it was pretty warm.
