The Calendar Says It

It's Friday morning! The best news about that is that my Sweet Bride Debbie comes home tomorrow after being away for a week. I'm sure ready for that!

We received 9-10" of snow on Monday and another 5" on Thursday and none of it has melted away yet. But have no fear -- next Monday is the first day of Spring! I'm ready for that, too! Of course, the weather forecast shows no temperatures above freezing for the next 7 days, though we are getting some sunshine today.

The Calendar says it is almost spring. I guess we can believe it.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Did you know --- your ancestors came out of Ireland? Yep, a long, long time ago. Long before they made it to Arkansas. Boy, that was a real come-down, wasn't it. Yep, it's true. Our "clan" started with the Russe clan in Ireland.
