I thought this would be a good day to share a couple of pictures of the basement flooring job that I just finished. I'm still cleaning up -- hope to finish that Saturday. Here you can see the hallway going to the two bedrooms and storeroom, and the other in the back corner next to the patio door. I'll find a couple of pictures taken right before I started and then you'll be able to compare some. This looks soooooo good now!
The blue box close to the file cabinet is the box my table saw stays in when not in use. When a big box like this shows up, Callie the Cat (no direct
connection to Allie Kat, whose blog you may have seen with all the toothpicks!) loves to "adopt" the box as her home away from home. So I've left it out since she has to stay in the basement all the time and never upstairs in the house.I'll post another picture after the clean-up is finished and you can see the entire room.

Looks like you did a great job! The wood floor looks really nice. I'm sure it will be a great selling feature to your home when that time comes.
