
David said he wanted to see some snow, so here's a few pictures of our home where we currently have about 8", though some of it is melting today with temperatures feeling like "spring time", about 35 degrees today!
The broad white area behind the trees is the "pond", currently frozen over with several inches of ice and covered with snow.

Do you get a lot of mud after it dries? It seems as though we skip right to that part over here. :-\

We won't see mud until late March or April when the ground starts to thaw. The amazing thing is that when the snow finally goes away, the grass is already green. Unless it has been terribly dry, which wasn't the case this year, the grass doesn't turn brown as in the south.
